The Estadio Bicentenario is located in La Florida, a district of Santiago de Chile, the capital of the South American Andes state. It serves as the home ground for the Audax Italiano team, which competes in the Primera División, the top tier of Chilean football. Completely renovated in 2008, the stadium features an artificial turf surface that meets all FIFA standards, allowing for international matches to be held here. During the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup 2008 in Chile, the final was played at the Estadio Bicentenario, where the U.S. team won 2-1 against North Korea. In the spring of 2018, a new artificial turf from Polytan was installed at the Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida on a 25mm elastic layer: a LigaTurf RS+ CoolPlus WCE with FIFA Quality Pro certification.
