Perfect solutions for an entire sports complex

Nidzica is located on the banks of the Nida River at the southern edge of the Masurian Lake District in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodship. Among the city's landmarks is a 14th-century Teutonic castle with two distinctive square towers that gave the city its original name: Neidenburg. Adjacent to the Vocational and Comprehensive School in Nidzica, an entire sports complex was completed in summer 2022. It was realized by Polytan's partner Panorama Obiekty Sportowe, a company specializing in the design and construction of sports facilities in the Polish market. The complex consists of a multipurpose field designed for handball and volleyball, a soccer field with an adjacent sprint track, a long jump pit, a tennis court, and a streetball court. All six sports facilities were equipped with surfaces from our portfolio.The soccer field, for instance, was fitted with LigaGrass Pro, our textured synthetic turf, which we recommend as the optimal solution for municipal, school, and club sports facilities. It impresses both athletes and operators due to its multifunctionality, high durability, and low maintenance requirements. Its filaments feature a triangular cross-section that guarantees optimized fiber stability and provides the turf with more volume and structure. The bi-color shading of the crimped filaments creates a natural grass-like appearance in vibrant green.For all other playing surfaces, the multifunctional shock-absorbing surface PolyPlay S was used, offering a clean and, above all, safe solution for various applications. Its poured-coating, water-permeable surface is easy to maintain and protects athletes with its shock-absorbing properties, reducing the risk of injuries during falls. Its excellent weather and decay resistance ensure a long lifespan and low maintenance costs. The surface of PolyPlay S can be produced in various colors and thicknesses. In Nidzica, the surface was applied in red with a thickness of 20 mm.The sprint track and long jump approach were equipped with Rekortan M, also in red. Rekortan is a high-speed synthetic surface designed for peak athletic performance. This is due in part to its combination of an elastic base layer and solid construction, providing perfect conditions for professional athletes and demanding amateurs.The sports complex in Nidzica demonstrates that Polytan offers a broad portfolio of sports surfaces ideally suited for various requirements.
